ABOUT THE ARTIST.... Scott Stevens I grew up around the Indian mounds of Northeastern Arkansas. As a child, I spent many hours exploring these mounds, fascinated by the many artifacts I discovered. As I grew older, my interests began to lean more toward the Plains Indians. I was captivated by their lifestyle! Their manner of dress, the symbolism and strength behind their weapons, the spirituality of their beliefs, and their family values all created what I believe to be living in perfect harmony. Also developing at an early age were my artistic abilities. It seemed only natural that these two interests be combined. |
